Jeff Glasserow, Founder (April 9, 1950 - November 5, 2005)
Jeff worked in all areas of advertising and broadcast production. Over the years he garnered numerous production credits and awards. Jeff's long background encompassed the three integral industry disciplines, technical, production, and financial. He formed the Glasserow Management Advisory Group to provide advertising production consulting services to major advertisers in 1986.
Jeff first worked as a broadcast technical engineer and then enjoyed stints as senior producer and director with radio and television stations in the Westinghouse Broadcasting Group, Turner Broadcasting, and Georgia ETV organizations. He wrote, produced and directed many TV specials, one of which won a technical EMMY Award for excellence in remote broadcasted live concerts.
Jeff's experience on the advertising side commenced with KLG Associates, a New York City-based boutique agency where he served as a TV commercial producer and print production manager and spent a number of fruitful years honing his industry skills.
Looking to get more involved in the business aspects of production, Jeff founded Gold Star Productions, an award winning TV commercial production company, where he and his staff produced and directed commercials for clients such as Arthur Murray, Inc, BSR, and McKesson & Robbins. BMW-North America worked with him to produce and shoot vehicle running footage and to produce print ads for their motorcycle division based on his extensive technical product knowledge.
Jeff had a B.S. in Mass Communications from Emerson College and studied international communications systems at RBT in Belgium, NDR in West Germany and the BBC in the U.K.
